Public listing and ISIN
- If you have a corporate or organizational blog you want or have already registered, we ask you for some information to be able to better track your blog.
- Most important is that this allows us to compare apples with apples, i.e. Fortune 500 or FT Global 500 corporate blogs with their peers and not one from a micro enterprise.
Larger organizations are often publicly listed companies.
ISIN – International Stock Identification Number
This information is being entered for a blog that is owned by:
a) a corporate entity, AND
b) whose stock is listed on a stock exchange such as London, Tokyo and others
ISIN is a unique identifier regardless of where the stock is being listed.
For instance:
Daimler AG has ISIN: DE0007100000
This number applies to the stock regardless if it is listed and traded in Frankfurt or New York.
In contrast, the ticker number will be different for Daimler stock traded at each exchange the stock is being traded.
