SME

Stands for small and medium-sized enterprise. The European Union defines micro enterprise to have less than 10 ( <10) employees, small enterprises as being those with <50 employees and mediu-sized firms having <250 employees and a turnover of less or equal to euro 43 mio. Find out more here:

For the above variable we either classify your corporate blog as being from an SME or not and code this as:

0 = other (e.g., large firm)
1 = SME

Size of enterprise

Accordingly, we try to rank your enterprise according to this as either being

0 = other (e.g., large firm)
