Hey Urs,
Daimler is looking forward to microblog at http://twitter.com/daimler
But we still look for a good strategy and have asked the blog readers to contribute: http://blog.daimler.de/2008/12/10/wenn-unternehmen-zwitschern/

until then we have a few employees blogging individually, e.g. myself @ http://twitter.com/KingNils

I wonder if having a person dedicated to the corporate Twitter account is a good idea or should it be 2 poeple instead?

Also, how much time and budget is needed to monitor and respond (e.g., ComCastcare or Dell). Looking through Tyson Foods, it is at least 2.5 hours every day.

Besides the above, it is obvious that a smaller firm might not want to do this. Else, if the owner likes doing it and knows how to do it - http://Twitter.com/ComMetrics (you do a nice job :-) ).

Finally, few of our customers are on Twitter (Europe) so why should I get my firm onto Twitter. Yes we wanted to avoid brandjacking so we registered our brand as a Twitter account. Done that gotten the T-shirt. But I have yet to start our people on Twitter.

Let me and others know your thoughts on this pls.
